P1354AW - Hinged Seismic Brace Fitting (for Strut)
The P1354AW is an adjustable angle fitting for use primarily with seismic braces. This fitting can be used to attach a strut brace to a trapeze, anchor point, strut, or other connection.
The P1354AW fitting has welded is pre-approved for the below seismic loads on page 5c.1 of Unistrut's OPM-0295-13.
This product is similar to the P1354A, but includes welds to increase the load capacities.

Seismic Design Loads
Notes:
- Seismic Design Loads only apply to UNISTRUT brand products. Look for "UNISTRUT" on the part.
- Seismic Design Loads are based on FM1950-10 dynamic testing with 12 ga. channel and a safety factor of 1.5.
- 1/2" Unistrut Channel Nut and Cap Screw torqued to 50 ft-lbs required for installation.
- Seismic Design Loads apply only to the P1354AW EG fitting. The "W" in the part number designates that the hinge has welds to increase strength.
